Built for an industry that deserves better.

SESH started five years ago with a simple thought: brands deserve better than the patchwork of unprepared activation labor that the cannabis industry had been settling for. So we built a different kind of company — one that hires for craft, trains for excellence, and treats reps like family. So they stay. So they bring their best.

Today we're active across the country with 60+ trained 1099 team members. We help brands enter new markets, hold the ones they already have, and put on activations that actually move product. The cannabis industry doesn't have a product problem. It has an execution problem. We exist to fix that.

McKensie KahnweilerCEO & Co-Founder

McKensie Kahnweiler

McKensie built her career on flawless execution — starting with nine years running food & beverage operations at Wrigley Field with Levy Restaurants before relocating to San Diego to lead large-scale events and venues. At the apex of her hospitality career, she made the move to cannabis, joining GTI in 2019 as a Retail Operations Manager where she met Allie and Derrick and helped streamline dispensary operations nationwide. In 2020 she co-founded SESH and has run the day-to-day ever since — from building Winter Wanaland in Chicago to scaling the company's field marketing, sales strategy, and the SESH Bus across the country. Based in Chicago and overseeing nationwide operations, McKensie is known for being easy to work with, putting love into everything she does, and carrying Derrick's legacy forward in every activation.

Allie Hoffman

Ten-plus years in cannabis ops — Revolution and GTI alum, now overseeing every SESH market with hands directly on the Midwest, New York, and California. Pulled off 300+ activations in a single 420 weekend. Best known for logistics, relationships, and quietly mentoring the team into bigger roles.

Devinne MorrisonOperations Manager & East Coast Events Coordinator

Devinne Morrison

Devinne has been in the legal cannabis space since 2015, driven by a mission to help people understand how cannabis can improve quality of life. Before joining SESH nearly four years ago, she spent eight months in Oklahoma building a brand and managing a dispensary, with deep roots on the retail side of the industry as well. At SESH she oversees all East Coast markets and has planned and executed large-scale productions across nine markets — from brand launches in New Jersey and Massachusetts to holiday industry events in Pennsylvania and Maryland, a movie premiere in New York (where Wyclef Jean made a surprise appearance), and the iconic Seshiversary haunted house built entirely from scratch in Illinois. Known for her creativity, strong energy, and straightforward communication style, Devinne brings equal parts vision and flawless execution to every activation.

Theresa Schiller

Theresa brings her unique combination of competent and creative leadership to every client interaction. She has over 15 years of experience creating events and implementing high-volume operations, most recently with Compass Group where she skillfully managed multiple client accounts. As the Senior Director of Concessions at Wrigley Field with Levy Restaurants, Theresa oversaw events of all sizes, including Chicago Cubs games, company team-building events, concerts, and bleacher weddings. Theresa used her specialized skillset to manage the day-to-day operations while maintaining a positive team culture and providing an unparalleled customer experience.
